KISH Island to Be the Center of Asian Beach Tennis KISH Island will become the center of Beach Tennis in Asia with the support of Kish Island Free Zone Sports' Foundation. "With the support of the International Beach Tennis Federation (IFBT) and Iranian sport officials, the beautiful Island of Kish will become the center of this sport in Iran "said Seyed Hoessein Mousavi, the President of the Asian Beach Tennis Federation. "During the meeting which was held a week ago, Dr.Sajjadi, the Manager of Sports of Kish Island, we reached an agreement to establish the Asian Beach Tennis Federation in Kish and make standard Beach Tennis courts so that this Island becomes the center of this sport" he added. Dr.Sajjadi, the Manager of Sports of Kish Island promised to build 9 standard courts in a month.(4court for men , 2court for women , 3court for family) Since Kish Island is a Free Zone, there is no need to get an entry visa. Considering the International airport and the pleasant weather, we can receive players 12 months a year. In order to develop this sport, the Asian Beach Tennis Federation intends to hold different Coach's course, Officiating course and monthly tournaments. | |||||
